Bible Study: Greed, Corruption & the Beast System in Daniel

l. The Beast System: Daniel’s Exposé of Corruption

1. Nebuchadnezzar’s Golden Idol (Daniel 3)

- Forced Worship = Economic Control

- Bow or burn (v6): Coercion through fear.

- Modern parallel: Systems demanding compromise for survival.


2. Belshazzar’s Feast (Daniel 5)

- Sacrilegious Greed

- Drank from holy vessels while Babylon starved (v2-4).

- Judgment: "God has numbered your kingdom and finished it" (v26).


3. The Little Horn (Daniel 7-8)

- Corruption’s Playbook

- "Speaking pompous words" (7:8, 20): Deceptive leadership.

- "Destroying the mighty and holy people" (8:24): Oppression of the righteous.
